Design Story
The Lonesome Pine is one of the most iconic symbols of the Gallipoli campaign - a lone pine tree that stood on the battlefield where ANZAC soldiers fought in 1915. Seeds from the original tree were brought back to New Zealand and Australia, and descendants of the Lonesome Pine now grow in both countries as living memorials to the fallen.
